Rev. Dr. Rodrecus Johnson, Jr.

Chairperson

Rodrecus Johnson, a native of Baltimore, MD, is a multifaceted individual whose life journey has been marked by academic excellence, spiritual dedication, and community leadership. A proud graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, Pastor Johnson earned a B.A. in Journalism with a primary focus in Advertising, reflecting his early commitment to effective communication.

Blessed with a profound sense of purpose, Pastor Johnson pursued further education at Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, OH. In 2008, he achieved a Masters in Divinity with a primary focus in Biblical Studies, laying the foundation for his impactful ministry. Notably, in May 2021, Pastor Johnson attained a Doctor of Ministry with a primary focus in Biblical, Political, and Social Ethics: Empowerment for the 21st Century Black Church, showcasing his commitment to addressing contemporary challenges within a spiritual context.

An esteemed member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Pastor Johnson embodies principles of leadership, scholarship, and service. His life philosophy is deeply rooted in Proverbs 22:4, believing in the transformative power of humility and the fear of the Lord, which bring wealth, honor, and life. Pastor Rodrecus Johnson’s dynamic journey reflects a harmonious blend of academic achievement, spiritual leadership, and a commitment to community empowerment.

Floristine Gray

Vice Chairperson

Dr. Floristine Gray, a proud native of Waverly, VA, is a distinguished educator and accomplished professional with a rich academic background. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physics from Virginia State University in Petersburgh, VA, laying the foundation for her lifelong commitment to education and knowledge.

Dr. Gray’s academic journey continued as she pursued higher degrees, including a Master of Education from Tarleton State University in Stevensville, TX, and an EED in Education from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she possesses expertise in Accounting, showcasing her diverse skills and interests.

With a passion for shaping young minds, Dr. Gray dedicated 15 years to the classroom as a teacher and subsequently served as a school administrator for 23 years within the Killeen Independent School District (KISD). Her enduring contributions to the field of education have left an indelible mark on countless students and colleagues.

A life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Dr. Floristine Gray exemplifies a commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Her impactful journey as an educator and her dedication to community engagement showcase a remarkable career shaped by excellence, passion, and a profound commitment to fostering knowledge and growth.

Cassandra Stanford

Secretary

Cassandra Stanford hails from Berlin, Maryland.  She is a seasoned educator with a wealth of experience spanning 30 years across various educational realms. Armed with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Scranton University, Cassandra has dedicated her career to the field of education, engaging with diverse levels including adult education, college, high schools, and middle schools. Her commitment to professional development is evident through her memberships in esteemed organizations such as the Computer Science Teacher’s Association, Killeen Retired Teacher’s Association, Texas Retired Teacher’s Association, and the Association of Texas Professional Educators (ATPE).

Notably, Cassandra has been an incorporated member of the Richard Allen Community Development Corporation (RACDC) since its inception, demonstrating her unwavering support for community development. Additionally, her involvement as a member of the NAACP underscores her dedication to fostering equity and justice in education and beyond. Cassandra Stafford’s extensive background and ongoing commitment to educational excellence make her a valued asset to both the academic and community spheres.

Dikila Jones

Executive Director

Dikila Jones, a native of Moss Point, Mississippi, is a distinguished professional with a rich and diverse background. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Florida A&M University and furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s in Information Technology Management from Webster University. Commissioned into the Army after college, Dikila dedicated two decades of her life in service to her country, achieving commendable milestones along the way.

Following her retirement from the Army, she seamlessly transitioned into the civilian sector, contributing her skills to organizations that value her expertise.  Currently, Dikila also serves as the Operation Executive for two prominent organizations: Made Media Group and AMC Publishing. Her strategic vision and dynamic leadership have been instrumental in driving these organizations towards success, making her a respected figure in the business world.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dikila is deeply involved in her community. She serves as a Voters Deputy Registrar and Election Clerk, playing an essential role in ensuring the democratic process runs smoothly and efficiently. Dikila is an active member of the Killeen Chapter of the NAACP, showcasing her commitment to social justice and community advocacy. Additionally, she is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, reflecting her dedication to sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
